Two years after the chapter in which a Starbucks cup appeared during a Game of Thrones scene, the series’ protagonist, Emilia Clarke, made the first statements about it in a virtual interview with theSkimm.
The accident occurred in the fourth episode of the eighth season, called The Last of the Starks, which premiered in 2019. During a scene from Daenerys Targaryen, characterized by Clarke, the object of the international coffee chain was leaked, which woke up countless memes and laughs on social media.
This week, Emilia Clarke gave an interview on theSkimm show, where she referred to the production error. The Mother of Dragons broke the ice when asked about her favorite breakfast drink and joked, “It’s not Starbucks, I don’t want to spoil it.”
